Founded in 2013 by Han Chong, a young Malaysian-born English designer and graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins arts college, Self-Portrait has quickly become London’s newest fashion phenomenon. Unique, accessible and unapologetically contemporary, the label is distinguished by a clear-cut vision of modernity that favours technical and romantic materials. Lace, with its sheer and variable quality, is the label’s pet fabric and trademark.
