Frenchman Simon Porte Jacquemus founded his brand name when he was only 19 years old. He was seen early on as a young fashion prodigy through his ready-to-wear inspired by shades and patterns drawn from the landscapes of southern France. He explores the female figure with sleek lines, flowy draping, bold cutouts, fascinatingly narrative elements, and references to his own and his family’s history. With unprecedented sensitivity Jacquemus has created a uniquely sophisticated label whose shows, always held in unusual locations, are flagship events that captivate the entire planet.
